Hareleap and Windyfrost show up at ScarClan.
ReplyDeleteSkull sneers, "Well, it took you long enough, Hareleap. and who is this? We told you to come alone unless you could bring me those two cats you saw wondering the forest. Were they just too smart for you, or did you have other things on your mind?" He looks pointedly at Windyfrost.
ReplyDeleteClaws breaks in. "Hey Skull, give them a break. You know we've sent out search parties of our own to find those two, and even we couldn't do it. How do you expect one cat to find them?"
Sparrowwing peeks inside the cave and sees Windyfrost standing with Hareleap, a ForestClan cat.
ReplyDeleteClaws sees a movement at the edge of the cave and turns around quickly. He sees Sparrowwing disappearing and gives chase.
Sparrowwing feels a cat jump on her and they fight. Claws pins her down and starts to ask what she is doing here, but stops when he sees her beautiful face.
"Let me go!" Sparrowwing yells.
"Who...who are you?" Claws asks.
"My name is Sparrowwing of ShadeClan. And who, may I ask, are you?"
"I am Claws of ScarClan. And may I just say, you are the most beautiful she-cat I have ever laid eyes on. But you must go now, or the other cats of my clan will not be so generous. I will only let you go on one condition though. Every half and full moon you must visit me by the old tree at the edge of your territory. It shouldn't be hard for you to slip away, an intelligent cat such as you."
Hareleap bares his teeth and growls, "Stay away from her, Skull. She is going to have my kits in a moon and we need warriors in ScarClan. Windyfrost knows everything about us and wants to be part of it."

Windyfrost's kits are born. There are two toms and a she-cat.
Redpaw, Bluepaw, and Honeypaw show up at ScarClan.
ReplyDeleteHareleap leaps to the front of the cave and growls, "What are you doing here, kit-fluffs?"
"Daddy? Are you Hareleap? Or have you been taken over by aliens?"
"I'm not your father!! Who do you think you are??? I'm not Hareleap!!! I'm Deathheart, deputy of ScarClan."
"Well, I'm Redpaw, and this is Bluepaw and Honeypaw. We are Lilyheart's kits, and you are our father."
"Putrid beings!!!!! I am Deathheart, mate of Windyfrost and father to Crow, Raven, and Vulture!"
"But-"
Then, Deathheart killed them.

ReplyDeleteShattered yawned, waking up from her everyday nap. Being the medicine cat, excuse me, healer, as Shattered prefers (Medicine cat sounds too soft), of such a treacherous Clan meant that she didn't play as big of a role. In this Clan, it did seem that Shattered was just a background character, not a high up fancy pants healer. Here in Scarclan in seemed to Shattered that the warriors were the stars, and healers were only called in when battle had occurred.
Shattered stood up and stretched, unsheathing and stretching her long, sharp claws. The she-cat admired claws such as her own. Fit for a true warrior, they were.
But Shattered had been a medicine cat. She lashed her extremely crooked tail in disgust. Not that she hated her job. She just felt that being a medicine cat meant only being called in when needed. No battling, no ceremonies to play roles in, no chance at leader. Oh, how Shattered would enjoy being leader. She thought she'd be much better at it than Skull. But it's not like Shattered would dare say it to his face.
Shattered sighed, sitting at the front of her den. How she longed to hunt, use her long, sharp claws for once in her horribly boring life. She unsheathed a claw and cleaned it, knowing there was no true point in doing so, yet still, she did it anyway.
Oh, if only her tail wasn't so crooked. Shattered's crooked tail gave her horrible balance and thus, a horrible hunting crouch. She'd never caught a single piece of prey, never injured another cat. She'd never used her claws on something alive and breathing. And seeing how much attention the warriors got for their bravery and fighting skills drove the young she-cat mad.
But no bother. Shattered sheathed the claw and looked around, bored as usual.
Claws snuck away from camp to go to the old tree to meet Sparrowwing.
ReplyDeleteClaws arrives at the old tree, but doesn't see Sparrowwing anywhere. He scents the air, then feels Sparrowwing jump on him from the upper branches of the tree. They roll around, play fighting for awhile, then climp up into the tree.
"Sparrowwing?"
"Yes," Sparrowwing replies.
"I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since the moment you left. Can you come again sooner than the full moon?" Claws asks.
"I can try to come every week, but if I come more than that my clan may get suspicious."
"Then I will try to visit you at your camp."
"No! If Cloudystar scents a strange cat in his camp, you might be in trouble! I can't let you risk it," Sparrowwing says.
"Well, if you go back to camp smelling like a strange cat, I could be in trouble as well. What's life without risk?"
Sparrowwing's eyes widen and she starts licking herself all over.
Claws and Sparrowwing both go back to their camps.

ReplyDeleteClaws and Sparrowwing meet at the old tree.
Claws begins to play fight with Sparrowwing, but she stops him.
"Claws, I have something important to tell you."
"What is it, my Sparrowwing?"
"I will not be able to see you for a couple moons."
"What? Have we been discovered?" Claws asks.
"No, no. It's not that." She takes a breath. "Claws, I'm going to have your kits!"
"That's amazing Sparrowwing! I am sure our kits will be beautiful! You should probably go, though. You need your sleep. My kits," He whispers to himself.
Sparrowwing gives Claws a lick then bounds back to her camp. Claws watches her then pads back to his camp.
Shattered passed Claws on her way to the Mooncave. "Good evening, Claws. You seem happy," the young she-cat meowed somewhat bitterly, the tip of her extremely crooked grey tabby tail swishing from side to side.

ReplyDeleteShattered sat at the entrance of her den, seeming to glare at all the cats nearby. She flicked her crooked grey tabby tail in her usual annoyance with everything.

Crow is mentored by Claws, Raven is mentored by Shattered, and Vulture is mentored by Skull.
Shattered, not one who enjoyed social events, padded up to her new apprentice. She only dipped her head before turning and padding into her den, expecting Raven to follow. She sat down at the entrance, curling her crooked tail around her paws, the kinks that made her tail so unique making it look just a tiny bit awkward.

Volture is having a tiny party in his head.
Shattered sighed. Why she had to have an apprentice? shattered just didn't feel up to the task, plus she believed that any cat would agree, she just didn't seem like a good mentor. Shattered stood up and flicked her tail from side to side, beginning to make Raven a nest. As she did so she thought to herself. 'I'm not even old yet. Only thirteen moons. So why do I get to have an apprentice now? I've only been the official healer for a moon!'

ReplyDelete"Mariva is having kits. This may be a good experience for your new apprentice. Make sure Mariva and the kits live, blah blah blah. I'm taking Vulture hunting."
Shattered nodded. "I make no promises, Skull. It is most likely Mariva and the kits will live, but I will not make a promise that could be broken."

ReplyDeleteRaven looked up as Skull approached. Then Shattered said stuff. Raven decided she liked her mentor.

"Now if you'll excuse me," Shattered growled bitterly, facing the leader. "I have an apprentice to mentor."
ReplyDelete"Yeah!" Raven said, standing on her toes to look...taller. ish. maybe. sort of.
ReplyDeleteShattered turned to her apprentice. "Let's get started then," she meowed, padding over to her herb stock.
ReplyDelete"OK!" Raven said, following her mentor.
ReplyDelete"Well then, Raven," Shattered meowed, sitting near a bundle of herbs. "Let's start with basics. First I'd like to see if you can guess a few of these." The she-cat snagged some marigold in her claw. "Do you have any idea what this is?"

Sparrowwing comes to the tree with her kits walking beside her.
They see Claws in the tree and back away from him.
Sparrowwing told them that he was their father.
"But you told us Toadtail was our father." One of the kits said.
"Well, that isn't really true. This is Claws, your real father. He comes from ScarClan, and that's why I told you that Toadtail was your dad. Claws, come here," She yelled up to the tree.
Claws jumped down.
"These are your kits, Robinkit and Darkkit."
"They are beautiful! I am sure they will be fine warriors one day."
"I have to go now before the other queens get suspicious. I will try to bring them to you again when they are apprentices and warriors. Tomorrow they are to be apprenticed, so they need their sleep. Goodbye, Claws."
"Goodbye Sparrowwing, and goodbye my kits."
Sparrowwing and the kits returned to their camp.
"Ummmm.....I think it's marigold." Raven said.

ReplyDelete"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................................................................................................................................................................................I don't know." Raven said.

Shattered nodded, snagging one light brown leaf and another leaf, this one a darker, yuckier green. "Any idea what these are?" she meowed, her voice cold and emotionless.

ReplyDeleteShattered nodded. "I didn't expect you to. These are the two leafs mainly used in traveling herbs."
ReplyDelete"OK. What are they called?" Raven asked.
ReplyDelete"Traveling herbs," Shattered replied bluntly. "They don't really have another name."
ReplyDelete"Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook." Raven said.
ReplyDeleteShattered nodded, snagging some yarrow in her claw. "What's this?"
ReplyDelete"I dunno." Raven said.
ReplyDelete"It's yarrow," Shattered meowed. "I assume you haven't seen it before?"
ReplyDelete"No." Raven said.
ReplyDeleteShattered nodded. "I didn't expect you to. It makes a cat throw up."
ReplyDeleteSparrowwing rushes into ScarClan.
ReplyDelete"Claws, there is a group of rogues that wants to overtake the clans! ShadeClan wants to fight with them because they don't want to be destroyed! What will ScarClan do? Every Clan has taken sides, even that rogue Clan, RavenClan!"
"If we don't fight with the Elite, I would be fighting against you! I could never do that! I'll tell Skull," Claws ran away to the leader's den.
Sparrowwing ran ahead to catch up with her Clan.
Claws ran up to Skull.
ReplyDelete"There is a new clan, and we should fight with them! They want to destroy all of the Clans."
"And you're saying that if we fight them, we will help destroy the Clans as well?"
"Yes! We could then overtake the Elite and have supreme domination over all the Clans!"
"I see," Skull said. "Then we will go to their Gathering tonight and fight for the Elite."
Raven, Vulture and Crow carefully snuck out of camp. They ran all the way to Four Stones.(Hooray for the super evil traitors that very evilly betrayed ScarClan in a very super way!!!)
