The Warrior Code:[4]
ReplyDelete1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
ExceptionsEdit
Cats on their way to the Moonstone or Moonpool are allowed to cross other Clans' territories to get to their destination - WindClan grounds in on the moorland and ThunderClan grounds by the lake, in the forest.[5]
At the lake, cats may travel on other Clans' grounds as long as they are within two fox-lengths of the lake; for instance, to go to a Gathering.[6]
Cats may travel on other Clan territories if they have something to report (fox, badger).
Additional RulesEdit
The following rules are not specifically stated in the warrior code, but are expected to be followed:
Medicine cats may not have a mate or kits.[7]
Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed,[8] and are not allowed to hunt.[9]
The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat.[10]
Clans must not unite together to drive out another Clan.[11]
Clans must not force another Clan to share territory.[12]
Enemy patrols must not attack cats if they are returning from a mission all four Clans agree on.[13]
Rejected CodesEdit
Throughout history, several other rules were proposed for introduction into the Warrior Code, however, they were turned down.[14] These rules were:
Only cats of pure forest blood can be Clan members (suggested by Featherstar of WindClan).[15]
Each Clan may only eat the prey they are most suited for (suggested by Robinstar of SkyClan).[16]
All Clan cats must believe in StarClan (suggested by Dovestar of RiverClan).[16]

Leadership Ceremony (Performed at Star Cave)
ReplyDeleteThe new leader goes to Star Cave with the Clan's medicine cat. After touching the wall, the new leader cannot move for a short period of time, because their old life is being ripped away so they can receive nine new ones. Upon awakening, cats of MoonClan come down from Silverpelt. Nine cats, normally ones who were significant during the new leader's life, give them their nine lives with these words:
Life-Giver: (Touches nose to the top of the new leader's head) With this life I give you (gift). Use it well (to, in, as, for, etc.) (use of gift).
When all of the lives have been given, the previous leader says these words:
Previous Leader: I hail you by your new name, _____star. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of ____Clan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity.
Deputy Ceremony

Medicine Cat Herbs

Blackberry Leaves
Description:
Leaves from the prickly blackberry bush.
Location:
Almost anywhere; they are very hardy plants.
Usage:
These leaves are chewed into a pulp.
Effect:
Eases the swelling of bee stings.
Borage Leaves
Description:
It is easily distinguished by its small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves.
Location:
Grows best in forests.
Usage:
It is chewed and eaten by nursing queens.
Effect:
It produces more and better milk. It also brings down fevers.
Burdock Root
Description:
Tall-stemmed thistle with a sharp smell and dark leaves.
Location:
Best in dry areas.
Usage:
The root is dug up, the soil is washed off, and then it is chewed into a pulp.
Effect:
Lessens and heals the pain of infected rat bites.
Important Information on The Elite:

What is an Anti-Clan?
An Anti-clan is a group that wants to destroy the Clans, and thus are automatic enemies with all. They do not have similar traditions to the Clans.
Elite ranks:
King- The male leader of The Elite. Normally Mate is Queen. As of August 4, 2012, the current king is Karkat.
Queen- Female leader of The elite. Normally Mate to King. AS of August 4, 2012, the queen is Terezi.
2nd in Command- The Elite's deputy. Will become king/queen when king/queen dies. Mate of position will be appointed as king/queen. As of August 4, 2012, the 2nd in Command is Gamzee.
3rd in Command- Will become 2nd in Command when 2nd in Command becomes King/Queen. Open as of August 4 at 5;24 pm, this is still open.
Healers- Elite's medicine cats. Maximum of 3 with 3 apprentices. As of August 4, 2012 at 5:24 pm, only one healer is taken, and that is Kanaya.
Assassin- A group of Gladiators that is extremely good at killing. One will be chosen as the new 3rd in command when a 2nd in Command becomes leader. **Unless you are one of the main 12, you may not become an Assassin, unless leader appoints you!**
Gladiators- The Elite's warriors. Cannot become a high position until appointed to Assassin.
Elders- Retired cats. Not just elders, but a council of cats.
There is no name for The Elite's queens.
Kits are known as Kittens.
Apprentices are still apprentices.
The Elite's religion
The Elite believes in Sunclan, the opposite of Moonclan. They are a council of cats much like the Elders with positions such as leader and councilmen.
I know that sometimes, locations can be difficult to grasp. So, I have created a guide to locations on our blog.

Prospit: Prospit is a glorious golden city ruled by the White Queen and White King. They have a large rivalry with Derse.
Derse: An evil magenta city ruled by the Black Queen and Black King. They have a huge rivalry with Prospit.

GOD TIERS
Just what are God Tiers?
The term 'God Tier' is a special ranking for an Elite cat. Any cat can achieve this special rank.
More Explanation, Please?
So a God Tier is made up of a title and an aspect. The format of a God Tier is (title) of (aspect). There are only certain aspects and titles that a cat can receive. A cat cannot pick their God Tier, it was set at them upon birth (yes, even cats not born into the Elite have God Tiers)

How do I get to God Tier?
God Tier requires that your Dream Self dies upon their Quest Bed, which can be found either as a large tower of some sort on their dream land, or a hidden chamber found in their dream city.
Upon laying/standing on the Quest Bed, the Dream Self will be killed in some sort of way. A while later, the reality figure of the Dream Self will vanish and reappear as their God Tier.
How Long Does it Take?
Every cat has a different amount of time that it will take for them to reach God Tier, but it will never take any longer than 36 hours.
How Can You Tell if a Cat Has God Tier?
Simple! If they have achieved God Tier, there should be an image of their aspect on their side.

Dream Bubbles are where the dead go. The Dancestors reside here. Dream bubbles are located in a stretch of void known as the Furthest Ring. It happens to be located in the same stretch of void as the dream cities and dream lands.
A Dream Bubble can be accessed by any living Elite if they are asleep.

ReplyDeleteI feel that the term 'God Tier' is being VERY overused at the moment. I really feel like I need to clear some things up, as well as explain titles and aspects.
ReplyDeleteThere are three forms of titles.
--
There is PASSIVE, to which the cat will use the power to HELP ALLIES, not just themselves.
There is AGGRESSIVE, to which the cat will use their power for ONLY THEMSELVES.
Finally, NEUTRAL, to which the cat will use their powers for THEMSELVES AND THIER ALLIES.*
ASPECTS do not tend to be PASSIVE, AGGRESSIVE, or NEUTRAL. They tend to depend on the TITLE to determine this, but there are a few exceptions.
The aspects of TIME and SPACE tend to be VERY AGGRESSIVE ASPECTS! They are constantly used for destruction of enemies, and these cats manage to shape the world as they see fit.

*A neutral title can be determined as passive or aggressive, dependent upon how the cat wishes to use their power. Cats who receive the title MAGE tend to be more AGGRESSIVE, while BARDS tend to be more PASSIVE, but these titles could go either way. They tend to depend on the following ASPECT for proper placement.
Now for things that really need to be explained--
When a cat is reborn as their God Tier, they are NOT instantly masters of their God Tier! It takes time to master the usage of a title and aspect!
A cat MUST BE IN THE ELITE IN ORDER TO REACH GOD TIER! The Elite is seen as proof that you truly wish to reach something great by your Dancestor! I cannot stress how big of a deal this is!
I will gladly explain titles and aspects in more detail when I get more information.
SEEING AS THIEF IS A REALLY POPULAR TITLE, I FEEL I SHOULD EXPLAIN THINGS:
A Thief is a title for SELF BENEFIT ONLY! A Thief will snatch the powers of their aspect out of others, and summon large amounts of their aspect's power! This can be used only for the cat in the possession of this title!
I'll explain the Thief God Tiers that have already been claimed.
Thief of Light- Vriska, as the cheater she is, has managed to master her God Tier. She can summon large amounts of luck and fortune, and can unleash this on others for her own benefit!
Thief of Blood- A Thief of Blood, upon mastering the God Tier, will be able to unleash a cat's ability to attack. The Thief can turn cat against cat, but only for the Thief to be able to stay alive!
Thief of Time- A Thief of Time is a very evil, manipulative God Tier. The Thief of Time, upon mastery of the God Tier, can unleash a warping of time, changing the timeline for its own benefit.

What would a Prince of Time be ale to do?

Guys, there's a major issue with the Lands that I need you all to fix. As previously noted, the format is Land of (noun) and (noun). However, these nouns relate very specifically to OBJECT NOUNS. Please, please, please keep this in mind and make any needed changes.
GOD TIERS

This has become the most major issue I've seen so far. Guys, honestly. If you're going to try and make a theory and assume it's correct, please do some research first.
Secondly, a cat has to work very, very, very hard to achieve God Tier. The cat also has to DIE, and become revived later on with greater powers. You are NOT allowed in any way to just go 'Oh hey, BAM this cat is suddenly God Tier'. I already explained that once before.
Third, there is absolutely, and I mean absolutely NO SUCH THING as a counter for a God Tier. There is no opposite that could kill them off. Remember that God Tier cats are pretty much immortal. The standards for a God Tier's death are still not clear.
Also, Muse and Lord titles are very specific to the Cherubs. I don't want abuse of the new race, so I will not allow anyone to roleplay them for time being. I will not roleplay them, as well.
These are very strict standards for God Tiers. Please take away the powers of cats who have not gained this right properly. I will be sure to check mine over as well. If any of these are violated again, I will not allow that person to use God Tiers until they can give me an accurate research paper on the manner. I'm not tolerating this any longer. *I will also be banning the use of the title 'Thief' for the time being. All pre-existing Thieves will not have to change, but no more Thieves for a very long time. It's WAY too overused.*

ReplyDeleteSince when has Warriors ever included magical cats? I mean, Tessa's got some kind of plan for defeating you, but I'm not sure about what it is...so I'm just gonna put this out there and say that we never intended for this blog to have magical cats.
And another objection to an issue you had with me a long time back...you know, when I was power-playing in the figurative sense.
Well, I'd just like to point out that you are power-playing in the literal sense. As in my-cats-have-magical-powers-that-will-make-sure-that-we-win-this-giant-battle-against-the-puny-Clan-cats-who-are-the-closest-thing-this-roleplay-has-to-a-normal-cat.
(Dang, that took like 5 minutes to do.)
