Here in MoonClan, we have noticed that many kittypets, valuable prey such as rabbits, and even our dreaded enemies dogs, have been abandoned by their twolegs. Even though we do not like dogs as they have killed many cats, all of these animals deserve to have good homes with twolegs. That is why for every 100 views on this page, the twolegs we have recruited will donate 10 cents to the place where all these animals go, called the Humane Society. Our goal is to eventually get to $100, so tell all of your friends that they should view this site and get involved to help all of the homeless kittypets who deserve a place with their twolegs.

"Attention Ravenclan cats!" A black cat yowled from a ledge. "We have found Hawkfeather! That traitor and her new clan will be destroyed!"
"And just where is this Clan, Smokestar?" A calico cat meowed from below.
"That is a very good question, Mochapelt," another cat stepped forward, coming to sit beside Smokestar. This cat was white with black paws, a black tipped tail, and a black locket of fur on his chest. "This clan is by the name of Iceclan."
Mochapelt nodded, shrinking back as the cat spoke. "Thank you, Riotclaw," she meowed quietly.
"We are invading the territory now!" Smokestar yowled. "Mochapelt, keep the kits, queens, and elders at the back of the patrol, safe from danger."
The young she-cat nodded.
"Riotclaw, Crowwing!" Smokestar yowled.
The two cat's heads shot up.
"Lead the front of the patrol with me. Ravenclan, move out!" Smokestar yowled, leaping from the ledge and padding out of camp, a swarm of cats following him.
"Come along River-eyes, Jaykit," Mochapelt meowed. "This Iceclan isn't too far away. We'll be traveling two days at most."
Smokestar padded at the front of the patrol beside Riotclaw and Crowwing. "That traitor will be punished!" Smokestar hissed.
Riotclaw nodded. Only he knew the truth; Hawkfeather wasn't a traitor, Riotclaw had attacked her when some kits were found dead, telling her that unless she ran away, he would tell the whole clan it was her who killed them. When she left, he'd told them anyway.
Crowwing hissed in reply, "Iceclan will fall with her, for taking in such a horrible murderer!"
Ravenfur approached Smokestar. "Sootkit and Ashkit are not fit enough for travel, and Jaykit has almost collapsed. Why couldn't we have left the kits back home in our camp? Wouldn't that be easier? Our kits could DIE out here! Are you willing to risk the lives of our kits, just like you risked the lives of Sparrowtalon and Robinfoot?"
"Sootkit is only one moon. She is a little older than Jaykit, but she is weak as well. She will die, and Ashkit will most likely die as well, Smokestar. You do not need nor want a couple of queens and kits on a raid, do you? Let us go home and we will not bother you any more. Unless you want valuable future warriors to die out in the wilderness." Ravenfur turned to Rivereyes, pleading her with her eyes to agree.
"Ah, but we would have no warriors, River-eyes, Ravenfur," Smokestar meowed cooly. "You will not be involved in this raid, but all of our warriors must be present if Hawkfeather and Iceclan are to fall. We will find prey and you and your kits shall be safe, that is a promise. The reason we brought you along was because we did not want you and your kits unprotected."
Riotclaw nodded in agreement. "You will be safe."
Crowwing nodded along, satisfied with Smokestar's response.
Mochapelt also agreed with Smokestar. "We would not put our queens and kits in danger. There are herbs here and a nice cave for you to rest. I'll make sure you're comfortable."
"And what if we are found by a fox or badger, or a group of cats? We might be able to protect the kits for a while, but we could be killed.The kits would have no one to stop an enemy for them." Rivereyes said.
"River-eyes, with Iceclan patrolling the area, do you really think that could happen?" Smokestar asked. "We're very far into the territory. Iceclan would probably find it first before it even gets here."
"Smokestar's right, River-eyes. You simply must stop fretting and get into the cave. Only something as big as a full grown cat could get in this cave with us, and a fox or a badger is simply too big to get inside," Mochapelt meowed. "Besides, we are up in the mountains. Foxes and badgers do not dwell here."
"No. I will not stay here if you are going to attack my sister's Clan. I told her that I was going to leave, and she is waiting for me. Good-bye." Rivereyes said, then she grabbed J aykit and ran off towards IceClan Camp.
Scratchtail ran up to Smokestar. "I heard of a new clan, or anti-clan they call themselves, that wants to destroy all Clans. If we fight with them, we can get rid of IceClan like we wanted to before, to get revenge on Hawkfeather! We should go to the Clans' Gathering tonight. I think the Elite will be there to attack them!"

ReplyDeleteSmokestar stopped at the Iceclan border. "I smell different cats," he meowed. "This must be their border."
Riotclaw nodded. "Mochapelt!" he yowled to the medicine cat. "We have arrived!"
Mochapelt nodded. "We're here," she meowed to River-eyes and Jaykit.
Crowwing turned to Smokestar. "Shall we advance?" he asked.
Smokestar nodded. "We shall. We'll seek out their camp. But first we must find shelter for River-eyes and Jaykit."
"How about those mountains up there?" Riotclaw suggested, flicking his tail towards the mountains in the territory.
"Good idea," Smokestar meowed. "Mochapelt! We're heading to the mountains!"
Mochapelt nodded. "Just a little farther."
Jaykit almost collapsed. Rivereyes picked him up n her mouth.

ReplyDeleteSmokestar sighed. "Are all our cats turning on us?" he murmured, pacing around the cave.
ReplyDeleteMochapelt stared at the ground. "It is such a shame, isn't it?" she murmured in reply. "It seems so, Smokestar."
Riotclaw growled. "This is getting quite irritating," he meowed through clenched jaws/
Crowwing nodded in agreement.
